Need help with Sony Alpha 100 develop settings

Hi,

I'm looking for help with LR develop settings for my Sony alpha 1''. There is a HUGE difference between the way my RAW images look in Sony's IDC and the way they look after being imported into LR. In IDC, the image looks very close to how it looks on my camera LCD. It is much darker, with muted colors particularly in the Red/Orange spectrum but also noticeable in light green/aqua in LR. The haze present during the shooting I'm comparing is also much more noticeable in LR. I noticed that LR is applying WB, Brightness, Contrast, Tone Curve and some sharpness adjustments at import - these may be fine but the colors are what is causing me the concern.

I am new to LR (only been using it a few weeks) and most of what I've done with it has been on my UW shots from my SeaLife camera (which only shoots JPG), so this is the first I've started looking at RAW pictures from the Alpha. I've spent most of the last day searching for this online without any luck.

Can anyone point me to a basic set of develop settings for the A1''? I don't need it to be perfect yet, and I don't have the funds to spend on the GM Color Checker at the moment.

I appreciate the pointer. I read and understand the article and had gotten this basic gist over the last couple days researching this on-line. My question isn't why is it different, though the explanation is very informative - I'm just hoping that there is a fellow A1'' user out there who has gone through this. I like LR. For efficiency reasons (this isn't my day job) I would love to be able to bring my images in without having to load each one in IDC and output the TIFF files before starting work in LR as I think the LR UI is much nicer than IDC plus I'd prefer not to have to "start over again" in IDC if I want to go back to the original image.

I also understand that each individual camera, based on its sensor, will be different. Just looking for a starting point, at least until I can afford to invest some
additional funds into this.

So - calling all Alpha users: anyone have a set of LR 2 presets/camera calibration settings for the Sony A1''?
