I was trying to print a b/w prints but lr 2 is turning my grayscale into a green scale. any clues why this is happening.

Where's the green? Print only, or showing up on screen as well?

What's happening is probably the result of the printer using a combination of colour inks to produce b&w tones. The latest printers are better, with more greyscale inks, but even with a good driver and print profile this problem is likely to be present to some degree. Take the print into another room with different lights and you may find it will look magenta. The solution I prefer is a dedicated set of black and white inks. Short of that, update the drivers/profiles, maybe get a profile made for that paper, or try other printers.
