Maybe there is a way to do this but I have not found it. I have a mismash folder (lagecy) containing may different types of images and many with no keywords. In Library, I put the metadata filter to 'no keywords' and it shows them all. I select a group of similar images which should get a group of common keywords. BUT I cannot add a group of keywords, as soon as I add one, the images disapear because they now have a keyword and the update is instant. I would like to have the instant update suspended by pressing a modifier key (shift would be fine) and then being able to select more than one keyword from my keyword list. As soon as I let go of the modifier the update would take place and all keywords added and then the images disappear.
In the screen show shown, there is a variety of images shown. I have selected the ones of a bush. I want to add the keywords: bush<PLANT, pink, blossoms. That is three keywords. As soon as I pick one of the three, the image disappears and I cannot add the other two without changing the filter to the keyword I just selected and finding the original image and then adding the new keywords. Then go back to the 'no keyword' filter to continue with the rest of the images. This is very inconvienient and slow.
There must be a way. Surely Adobe has thought of this. What I suggest would be convienient. But it might not be easy to implement.
