I have just bought a New pc. This means I have to move lightroom to the New pc. I have installed lightroom and right now I am moving all my photos. I also copied the catalog.

Perhaps I have made some mistakes here, but right now there are a lot of missing photos.

Is it possible to reimport all the photos? What will happen with all the metadata, flags and so on?

I think I made a mistake when I opened the catalog befora all the photos were moved over?

Do you have any recommodations?

Thank you! My edited photos are mostly dng-files. Does that mean that all metadata will stay With the photos when they move to a New location? What about edited cr2-files?

All the edits are in the catalogue, no matter what the file type. If you re-import, you'll lose those edits, so don't do that.
