I think I am making things harder for myself. When I edit a wedding, sometimes i pull pictures out into a 'did not use' folder inside of the main folder. However, I have to switch from develop mode back to library mode everytime! There must be an easier way to do this. any advice?

No, Library is for file/folder manipulation. Develop's for image adjustment. Personally, it's always driven me crazy, but that's how it works. There are valid performance engineering reasons for this separation of functions, but it's still annoying (IMHO).

Hmmm..

That IS VERY annoying. My computer or files are too big with my workflow going back and forth then.

Flags? Coloured labels?

Sorry, I sort of answered the wrong question.

Yes, switching modules for certain tasks is annoying.

But as John suggests, there are several 'tagging' options that you can apply while in Develop module, using icon clicks, or keyboard short cuts. This will give you a ready-made selection criteria to use for one quick trip back to Library module.

I would-add the 'Quick Collection' to John's suggestions as well.

If you need clarification of any of this, just ask.
