Hi,I am sure this will be operator error. I know if I find an image that I want to add to a collection, I can just drag and drop it. However if I have been through lots of folders and flagged certain subjects 5 star or red, then use the filter to find them. I do not seem to be able to drag and drop these into a collection, I am trying to save myself the time of finding them in the original folders. Thanks for any tips.

Hi gmac, what exactly happens when you try to drag and drop them into a collection?

I've just tried it and it works for me, so I'm wondering what happens when you try to do it. After you've tagged your pictures, you use the Attribute filter to find them all, yes? Then what? Once you have all your flagged pictures in the Grid view, you are selecting them all before trying the drag and drop?

To drag and drop, you have to point your mouse at the thumbnail image itself and drag and drop. If you point your mouse at the rectangle around the image and try to drag and drop, it doesn't work.

Finding files in folders won't help you with adding to collections. Not sure what you meant.

Re: Moving image to a collection - whops!

Hi,Thanks for the replies, I had another go, I have been a bit of a dull head lol ! It works now, sorry I am doing it correctly now! Thanks for your time.

An alternate way is to right click on the collection and select, "Add selected." I find that easier than dragging.
