moving catalogue from one PC to another PC

for the last year i've been using LR1.3 and finally LR2.' on my laptop in australia and now i want to use LR2.' on my desktop in sweden.
what is the best way to ensure that my catalogue does not get all messed up? i'd hate to have to go through all the folders i made in LR and find the first pic of each one. is there an easier way to do this?

ps, the file structure is 99% the same, the only thing that will have changed is the actual drive letter, so instead of c:\all my pics it would be something like g:\all my pics.

pps, and no i haven't tried anything yet cause i don't want to mess it up.
