[/quote]Microsoft has a feature built in to Win7 called Windows Easy Transfer. It is a free download for XP http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...31-973A-45C7-A4EC-4928FA173266&displaylang=en
Use it to move all your user ID and program settings (including LR's) You will still have to install the programs on the new machine but it will make the switch to a new machine as painless as possible.
