Missing WB options in pop-up menu

Hi All

In the develop module of Lightroom 2.', working on a DNG photo image, if I click on the white balance pop-up menu I am given a choice of
As Shot
Auto
Custom
The book I am learning from shows several other options such as Daylight, Cloudy, Tungsten etc. Why are they missing please?

Did the DNG start life as a fully-baked image file, like a TIFF or JPEG, rather than a raw file?

Gosh that was quick! I doubt it. It's one of Scot Kelby's and I have the same trouble with my own image which went from Raw to DNG.

If those are the only 3 options, it's definitely because it's not a raw file - it's another image format that's been converted to DNG. The other way you can check is the white balance slider have ' as a midpoint rather than a Kelvin scale.
