  • The May 2019 Lightroom updates are now available. There's a brand new slider called Texture, available across the whole family of apps. Lightroom Classic includes a new tool called Flat Field Correction. Lightroom (cloud-based service) has lots of big improvements including cloud trash, invitation-only web galleries, improved chromatic aberration removal and more. The Missing FAQ and Edit Like a Pro eBooks are already updated for the changes. You'll also notice the CC's have disappeared off the end of the names, so we've updated the forum names to match.

Missing profile

I've just attempted to edit some images previously edited on my iPad which use the Camera Standard profile. I now find that on my iPad I get the error message that the profile isn't available on the device. I had thought it was a generic Adobe LR profile so I don't know where it has gone! I am using a replacement iPad as my previous one was replaced under warranty.
Grateful any advice as I do not wish to change the profile. The profile is present in LR CC on the desktop (I don't use this for editing, preferring to stick with Classic).

This problem has cropped up a few times recently (and I can confirm that Adobe have been made aware of it). Currently, until they figure out why it happens, I've found that the best way to cure it is by deleting and re-installing the LRCC app on the mobile device on which it occurs (which can be a nuisance if you have previously downloaded lots of smart previews or originals).

Thanks Jim, I'll give that a go - although it was already a new install on the replacement iPad last week.
