Hi, I think this might be my first post but I've found the forum very useful since I've joined. I did a quick search before asking this question but didn't find my answer, so here goes.
I have labelled a number of images and when I use the label filter all the images initially show up in the selection. But then it gets weird. In Develop mode when I apply noise reduction then turn it off to see the difference the image no longer is visible in the filtered selection. If I turn off the filter and view all images, the labelled image is there with it's label colour but it will not show up in the filtered selection unless I shutdown LR and open it back up.
Filtered labelled images also go 'missing' during other edits not just noise reduction. The edit that causes the image to go 'missing' seems to change depending on the day, but it's usually turning the edit effect off that causes it most often. It was apparent with v1.2 and I hoped the latest version would have fixed it. It feels like the problem has escalated though.
I'm working with one catalog of 1',''' images but currently contemplating how I can divide that into two catalogs logically. LR is also running very slow and I optimize the catalog on a frequent basis. I should say this catalog is only on my iMac and I don't experience the problem with my MacBook although I don't use LR nearly as much on the laptop.
Any thoughts/suggestions would b helpful.
