I first tried to move folders to ext HD from desktop. Missing files. Then I tried reminding them from ext HD. I think big mistake. I have no idea what to do next. I don't wanna touch it anymore. Been on lots of blogs, videos this weekend. its a mess. My ext HD is seagate.

Welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear you are having file issues. For the time being I would recommend not doing anything further until you know what you are doing. It is quite easy to dig a bigger hole than you are already in if you do not know what you are doing. How many folders did you move? And what do you mean by "reminding"?
