Missing folder in Library tab

Hi folks, I've searched through the forum but cannot find the specific answer.
LR 5 on a desktop.
I've imported some photos in the folder that I've created in the folder tree on the right hand side, in Import mode, obviously.
But when I go to Library tab, I cannot see the folder in the catalogue list on the left hand side.
I can see the photos that I've imported in the Previous Import tab below the Catalog tab.
I can see all the other folders, but just not the one I need.
I've not had this problem before.
Does this make sense, have I described the problem properly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On one of the photos in the Previous Import, right-click and 'Show in Library' - this should show you where the folder is in the Folders panel.

Hi Paul, Thanks very much for your response, and I have found the photos in the folders pane, thank you.
Another question please . When I imported the DNG photos into LR, I imported into a folder called Windy House. Inside this folder are two folders called Oct 23 & Aug 24. I imported the RAW photos into Aug 24.
But........... in the folders pane in Library tab, the Aug 24 is separate to the Windy House folder.
I have other folders with a main title shall we say, and supplementary folders within, and they appear correctly. I can see the main folder and there is a little arrow beside the name showing that there are folders within. I am slightly baffled and hope there is a simple explanation that eludes me at the moment.

Hi Jim. Thanks you for your response.
Attachment 1 is in Import tab, showing folder Windyway House and the two sub-folders, Oct 23 & Aug 24.
Attachment 2 is in Library tab showing the folder pane and the fact that folder Windyway House does NOT show up.
Attachment 3 shows folder pane showing the sub-folder Aug alphabetically in pane.

If you right-click on the Aug 24 folder in the LrC Folders Panel, is there an entry in the resulting context menu that says "Show Parent Folder"? If so, clicking on that line should then expose the Windyway House folder with the two sub-folders below it.
