Recently installed Lightroom, created a catalog and moved photos from iphoto and view NX (nikon). I now have two folders under the folders menu in Lightroom that are called 2''9. One is from iphoto and one is from view NX. That is not a problem. However, on my hard drive I have a folder called Lightroom where my Lightroom catalogue and pictures are stored with various folders for years 2''3 up to 2''9. Then outside of the Lightroom folder there is another folder called 2''9 (Just sitting there all by itself). This is the folder with all of the images moved from viewNX.

I would like to have the images from both 2''9 folders in the Lightroom folder so that I only have one folder to backup and everything is in one place. So, how do I move the folder into my Lightroom Pictures and how do I rename it so that it is not conflicting with the 2''9 images previously moved from iphoto.

I hope that was clear, thank you.

OK, I spent 3 days trying to figure this out before posting a question in the forum. I then post the question and the immediately figure out what I need to do :)

Please disregard, problem solved.

Thanks

LOL That's always the way. It's like toothache that disappears as soon as you've booked a dentists appointment.

Well welcome aboard anyway, and well done for figuring it out.
