Lightroom Classic includes a new tool called Flat Field Correction. Lightroom (cloud-based service) has lots of big improvements including cloud trash, invitation-only web galleries, improved chromatic aberration removal and more. The Missing FAQ and Edit Like a Pro eBooks are already updated for the changes. You'll also notice the CC's have disappeared off the end of the names, so we've updated the forum names to match.

Hi,
I was dragging the Lightroom window cross my desktop and mistakenly placed my mouse pointer over the small icon just to the left of -Adobe Photoshop Lightroom at the very top of the Lightroom window. When I let go of the mouse button the icon landed on my desktop. What exactly is this icon for, and how do I get it from the desktop back to the spot where it previously resided?

Thanks!

iMac (OS 10.6.8)

Sounds like you either made an alias or a 'clipping'. Both can be trashed if you made them by mistake. If you want to be sure before you trash anything, post a screenshot so we can see what you mean.

Johan,

Bingo! Guess I'm just not used to being able to create an alias from that sort of spot.

Thanks!
