To svae confusion over what is and what isn't a preset

I don't see this as a problem -- there are lots of types of presets, you just need to use their full names. Develop presets, export presets, metadata presets, ...

I concur with Mark here, keeping it simple can be saying it as it is, there are enough acronyms out there already to confuse and of course how do they translate to other languages?
