over the last 3 days i am receiving these arrows on my thumbnails pointing up/ metadata was changed externally. i am trying to trouble shoot. these arrows are appearing randomly through out the library on photos i haven't opened or edited in the last 3 months as well as the recent ones. i opened the folder from my external drive( were the images reside) and looked through the dates modified for individual files that were flagged with arrow. none of the older photos showed a recent modification. please help? i'm on a mac, lr 2.3,ps-cs3. is there some ghost program i don't know about ( writing metadata to my files)? is this a problem with lightroom itself? i know i can resolve & overwrite settings on the affected images, but i don't understand what other program is doing this, or how to stop it from reoccurring. many many thanks for any help. forgive my lack of posting etiquette this is my first time on the forum. :-[
