Merging history from virtual copy?

I edited an image up to a point in colour and made a virtual copy before continuing to edit a black & white version in the virtual copy. I saved a few snapshots along the way and have noticed that the snapshots created in the virtual copy also appear in the original.

In hind site I don't really need the virtual copy and was wondering if it's possible to merge the history of changes made to the virtual copy back into the history of changes to the original so I can delete the virtual copy but still retain the history?

Not that I'm aware of Steve, but it'd be a great feature request.

Thanks Victoria. Fortunately the history steps indicate the value applied so I simply reapplied the steps I wanted to the original.

If you're wanting to end up with JUST the b&w version as the master instead of the virtual copy, you can go to Photo menu > Set Copy as Master to switch them round.
