Operating System:Windows 10
Exact Lightroom Version (Help menu > System Info): 2015-13
Is there a recommended maximum to the database size in Lightroom? I currently have about 122,000 pictures stored in LR. While the importing of new pictures seems to go at a reasonable pace, it seems to take up to 5 minutes or so before I can view pictures at full 1:1 size. The picture will expand most of the way quickly, but then seems to stick at a point where it is just slightly "out of focus" for several minutes. When I look at my Windows task manager, it seems to indicate that LR is still doing some processing in the background up to 5 minutes or so after the import is done. Finally, the pictures will snap into focus. Am I over-taxing the capabilities of Lightroom? Should I start another catalog?
