The movable panel that appears after you open the masking tool has disappeared from my screen. How can I get it back?

This is a known issue. Restarting should get it back, and then I would advise to dock the panel (drag it under the histogram).

You don't give us a whole lot of info, so we'll have to start at the basics.

1) Do you have the masking tool selected on the tool bar just under the Histogram?

2) If yes, then did you look all around? For example, it may now be docked in the right panel below the histogram. It may be superimposed over the left panel someplace that my be tricky to spot. It cvan even be laying on top of the film strip at the bottom. Take a real good look all around.

3) Did you change your screen resolution , scaling or video driver information recently in which case it's postion may no longer be within the new screen dimentions

4) Do you have LrC set to "Maximum" winndow size (LrC fills whole screen excect Windows task bar)?
