Lr for iPad v. 8.1.1

  1. iOS
I'm having trouble with Lr on an iPad Pro, 12.9 inch, 1st generation. I'm using iOS 16.3.1 and Lr v. 8.1.1.

I can't subtract from an existing mask with the brush tool when using Apple Pencil. I can create masks with the brush tool, and I can add to an existing mask with the brush tool, but I can't subtract using the pencil. I can move the subtract mask around (one that I created with a finger) with the pencil, but I can't subtract from the mask.

I tried changing the iOS setting "Only Draw with Apple Pencil" but that didn't work (I tried it both ways).

Oh! Never mind, I turned off the iOS pencil setting called "Scribble" and now the pencil seems to work. Maybe this thread will help someone else.
