Apparently Lr has no slider to tune the amount of effect applied with a masking tool, as it happens in LrC.
Am I right?

At this time, yes. Hopefully a future update. The code is there behind the scenes, so if you've adjusted the slider in Classic, LR does respect that change, you just can't see or change it.
