Hi
Since the latest update, the mapping doesn't seem to be working properly. Has anyone else had this problem??

The map worked normally up until the update to 12.1 and now you can’t seem to drag photos into GPS positions, the map doesn’t refresh, you can’t click on the map icon to get it to go to the place on the map. This happened a while ago with an update, but then it was fixed. Hopefully that will happen again.

Lots of reports about Map flakiness in the last year or so. Two steps that sometimes have helped others with these symptoms:

1. Go to Library, exit LR, restart LR, go to Map. Does it work now? Exiting LR directly from the Map module can produce these symptoms, more often on Windows but sometimes Mac.

2. Try resetting LR's preferences:

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.

Thanks very much, I will give that a go.
