Map module Map disappears!

Operating System: Win 10
Exact Lightroom Version (Help menu > System Info): Classic cc Release 7.0.1

1. Updated to Classic cc and imported first batch of photos. Entered locations into Map module. No problem.
2. Imported second batch of photos today, went to enter locations - No map! Just grey screen in central window.
3. Checked back on my previous import - just the grey screen where the map should be, but the location pointers are there.
Tried exiting LR and relaunching a couple of times, but no luck.
Anyone else had this problem?
Suggestions welcome.
