Hi, I just made a copy of my external hard drive containing my entire 70,000 photos and default catalog. Source disk called: Seagate Destination disk: Passport Ultra. It all copied normal and I clicked on the most recent IrCAT file to open lightroom. All my images displayed to my delight !! However, the folders now dont show in Lightroom and of course the thumbnail images cant find their originals. There is no way I can use finder etc to redirect every image and renaming my Destination disk to Seagate did not help. Still not sure how to fix this situation OR find an alternative easier way to make a workable second copy of my Lightroom Masters on a second disk ??

Hi John, welcome to the forum!

Tell us a bit more about "the folders now don't show in Lightroom". You mean they're completely missing? Or they have question marks on them? A screenshot is even better.

And while we're there, what are you hoping to accomplish with this copy? Are you moving the files to the new drive? Or is this for backup? Or to move to another computer?
