Mailto link in web export??

I'm probably just doing something stupid... but I'm trying to insert a mailto link into the 'web or mail link' space on an html web template. I put into the text box exactly this:

<a href = "mailto:[email protected]> my name</a>

and it doesn't work. It looks OK in LR, but once uploaded, the website recognizes there is a mailto link, but tries to send the email to an email address "<a href ="

Also, and this is related... if I change one small thing about the template (like fixing this problem above) when you go to upload, it seems to upload everything... all the pictures again even if they haven't been changed at all. Is there no way around that??

Try to just put [email protected] in the text box. Looks like Lightroom is embedding it itself within its own <A href= ... </A>.

Lightroom does not give any consideration on what is already uploaded and will always upload the whole thing. In the case of updates, it is easier to use a decated FTP program that can sync both sides.
