I have just got a new laptop which has the (for me) luxury of a large SSD and an even larger HDD, both internal. If I understand correctly from some reading of earlier posts in the forum, it won't make too much difference to performance if my images are on the HDD but that it is definitely a good idea to have the catalog etc on the SSD. Have I understood correctly, please, or should I put the images, too, onto the SSD ?

Thanks.

That's exactly the way I have mine set. SSD for catalog, previews makes a big difference. Sounds good!
