Every so often I find the LrC has not closed properly. This is evidenced by the fact that when restarted it crashes and reports that it did not close properly. It then fires a crash report off to Adobe.

This is infrequent but regular if you see what I mean. Is anybody else seeing this - on M1 iMac.

Thank you

Do you perchance power off you computer right after telling LrC to close? Perhaps it's still doing an optimzation or consistency check or backup? Usually when you get that "failed to close properly" notice it means that the shut down process did not complete and in turn the most likely cuase is that the computer shut down before Lrc completed its closing process. For example a power outage on computers without batteries, or a forced shutdown of the computer ignoring the fact that there are apps running.

That might be it, Califdan. I'll be more aware of this possibility going forward and see what happens.
