Here's my scenario. I have been updating my photos with GPS coordinates and metadata such as City, State, Title etc over the last 6 months or so. I have been working on a folder by folder basis. My normal modus operandi, whilst in grid view, is to Ctrl-A to select all of the photos in a folder and type, for example, the city name in the City field in the Metadata tab. This has worked flawlessly with the metadata for all of the selected photos being updated. With LrC 11 this is no longer the case.
Having updated to LrC 11 this scenario no longer works. I select all of the photos in a folder, fill in the City, State, Description etc field and it's only ever applied to the first photo in the folder. If I select a subset of the photos it's still only the first selected photo which receives the update.
I have two machines here running LrC 11. One is on Windows 11 and the other is on Windows 10. The behaviour is the same on both machines.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue or able to reproduce it?
Cheers
Steve
PS
I should add that I always keep LrC up to date. This issue has only arisen since my update to LrC 11.
