LR3 Beta - Bug in file renaming

Hi all.
There's a problem when I try to rename files from my camera. LR3 won't maintain the sequence numbers from my camera unlike LR2.5.

For example, if I have _DSC5543.NEF, it will make it '''1.NEF or .DNG, while in LR2.5 it knows how to save the file number sequence and edit the rest.

There's a few renaming bugs at the moment. Have you definitely selected the right tokens?

Sure did. I'm an expert user Lightroom and I'm a lecturer in Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom. I use it from day one and I'm quite a fan of this program. I'm sure I've made the right settings and tried every possible option but I couldn't maintain the original number sequence.

Another important addition to my bug report. Since installing LR3 beta, I get constant errors in importing NEF files, more errors when I import and convert into DNG format.
The errors are the same, LR can't import then and convert them and it created an erroneous file in the destination folder.

Importing NEF files seems very slow and often goes into "Not Responding". Sometimes it freezes completely, but then has actually imported the photos. I am using Windows 7, so I am not sure if this has anything to do with it. Understand it is an early BETA, just commenting.

I'm on Windows 7 as well. I don't see this problem you are having. So I guess it's system related.
