LR2 still crashes way too often

As much as I like Lightroom, its always been very unstable for me.
Since installing 2.1 some issues have been resolved but still I have the instability problems

I'm working on a wedding today whilst also downloading last weekends wedding in the background and it's crashed on me atleast 6-7 times.

Is anyone else experiencing this still and whats the chance of a fix?

Dean, it must be the Aussie version !!
On a more serious note it would be worth while going through your set up with a PC guru here as this ought not be happening. I haven't had a crash of LR for months, maybe even this year but I defer to others to try and help you mate !!

Hi Geoff

That Aussie version of the software has been giving me some real troubles damn it .....
Any suggestions as to that pc guru?

Sorry Dean don't know the northern hemisphere guru schedules !! There is usually one or two around though so shouldn't take too long.
How's the cricket going??

Corrupt develop presets, and out-of-date video drivers are possible culprits.

To rule out the presets, just temporarily rename this folder:

x:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Presets
