LR2 Mogrify Watermarking

Hi I'm new to the forum :D

I was wondering if someone could assist me. A friend of mine recently helped create a graphical logo for use on my images and sent it to me as a png file. I have tried using the Graphical Watermark option in Mogrify but no matter what I've tried thus far, the images have exported without the watermark. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong so any advice will be much appreciated!

Ok, let's start from the top... if you try any other kind of watermark - perhaps text with a really basic font - does that work?

Would you like to upload the PNG here so we can double check that it's not a problem with the file?

And are you running the latest LR/Mogrify update?

Right, I was previously 'watermarking' using text annotations and that has worked like a charm. It was a signature using the zapfino.txt and that has not caused any problems at all.

I've uploaded the file (but had to reduce the size first though its still not working with Mogrify.

I've checked and I have the latest LR update and Mogrify update. The thing is I have been able to export the photos with the watermark using the 'Print to Jpeg' option but I preferred the Mogrify way so I'm not sure if there is an issue with the actual PNG per se...

Got it! Remove the ' from the watermark filename - LR/Mogrify doesn't like it. :D

Thank you sooooo much, I don't think I'd have thought of that! Thats so weird that it doesn't recognise it though!

Another detail tough... Didn't you noticed that strings are reversed on the guitar? Normally, bigger strings are at top. ::)

The pickguard is in the correct place however. That means the guitar is correct but strung backwards. It looks to me like a guitar strung for LH play but oriented as if it were RH play. Hendrix old guitar held by a righty?

Oh yeah good point :eek: I hadn't noticed that but it was done for me by a friend. I'm a righty myself so it doesn't really fit my description. Perhaps I shall try and get it changed...thanks for pointing that out to me :D
