LR2 Error on start up: 'root folder'

get error message on LR2.1 startup as follows:

"?:' attempt to index field 'root folder' (a nil value)"

click "OK" and it just keeps repeating and LR2.1 is in a minmal operating state (no library functions, etc.)

I have been using LR2.1 and this appeared out of the blue.

Redneck, Welcome to the Forums.

Couple of things you might try first are listed in this thread.

Give that a read, maybe experiment with the recommendations there, and let us know what happens.
