Not sure why LR 2 is not letting me edit my images in CS4. I right click the image as usual and select 'Edit in Photoshop CS4' and then it just loads CS4 without the image. I'm not even getting the pop up box before it loads to CS4. Not sure why? The only thing I've done differently is gone from a 4'D to a 5D. All my software is updated to the latest updates of ACR. Has anyone else experienced this?

It was a known issue when running LR in 64bit mode on Snow Leopard. The issue was fixed when Apple updated OSX to 1'.6.2

Your profile doesn't show your OS version and it also shows you are using LR2.4 which is not the latest version.

If you open PS first, does it work?

I am running Mac O/S 1'.5.8. I was trying to dodge the upgrade, but guess I have to make a trip down to my friendly apple store tomorrow. As for L/R itself, I have tried numerous times to upgrade it to 2.5 (as I am running 2.4) but it installs correctly, but still shows as 2.4. Weird. Oh, and CS4 loads and operates fine when I load the RAW file directly.

I think that was just a snow leopard bug - it's working ok here in 1'.5.x.

What about jpegs? Do they open correctly into PS?

Tell me what SOOC stands for....?

upgrading to 1'.6 won't help, that actually introduced this problem in the first place. I would suggest that you need to de-install / clean up and re-install LR and CS4 as you obviously have issues with upgrading LR already.

Ooooooh thanks Brad.

Just before you uninstall/reinstall, you could try trashing PS's preferences, and LR's too. Worth a shot.
