I keep getting the following message as I am importing in LR2. "Lightroom encountered a problem when reading a catalog file and needs to quit.
Lightroom will try to diagnose the problem the next time it launches."
When I re-launch LR2 it checks the DB and previews DB then opens. I start importing again and it imports for a while then stops and gives me the same error. This has happened 4 times. I noticed that LR2 thought some of my drives were offline so I fixed that in Vista and am now trying it again with fingers crossed. Could this error message really be related to a disconnected drive? The import finally completed sucessfully so it seems to have been the off line drives, this is a serious flaw!
Also, some of my networked drives appear twice, one has the network address and then the drive name, the other just has the drive name. To really mess things up they display different folders and I can't figure out how to correct this. If I try to copy the folders from on version of the drive to the other it says that the files already exist, which of course they do. How can I fix this?
