LR2 dont recognise my lenses -Sony lenses

LR2 dont recognise my lenses in metadata -Sony lenses Sal18-2'', Sal 18-7', minolta 7'-21' f/4, minolta 5'mm f:1.7

I use LR 2.3 on a vista Home
I use an Sony Alpha-1'' and a Nikon P5'

Does any other software recognize those combinations successfully?

I dont know. I can see that LR know the lenght of the lense, the speed of the camera, witch camera I use, the exposure, but not the lens itselft.

I guess this is a bug (or a feature 'which hasn't been implemented' for the Sony cameras, if one wants use euphemisms!)

I saw a similar problem in Apples Aperture with a Sony camera and it was the Camera that had the bug as it wasn't storing the EXIF data correctly. The lens data didn't show up correctly in any software.
