LR2.6 Catalogs open in LR 3.2 Beta- How do I stop?

When I click on any LR Catalog that I previously had in 2.6, it tries to open in 3.2, but won't. How can I stop all of my current LR catalogs from trying to open in 3.2 when I click on them?

The simplest solution is to open 2.6, then use it to navigate to and open your original catalogs. If 2.6 is opening an incorrect catalog by default, you can hold down Ctrl/Cmd as it opens, to access a dialog to configure the file opening default settings.

As Denis notes, there are OS specific things you can do to force filetype associations to a particular application.

On the Mac version you can right click on the catalog and choose Open With... Lightroom 2.6. If you want to make it more permanent, select the catalog in Finder and hit Cmd-I to get the Get Info dialog and towards the bottom you'll see 'opens with...' which you can change, and a 'apply to other files' (or some such) to apply it to all .lrcat files, so that double clicking will open it straight into 2.6. Then you'll have to opposite problem that your LR3 beta catalogs will try to open in 2.6!
