Hello,
Within the past couple of weeks, I've been experiencing an inconsistent problem and am curious if anyone has experienced the same. Here's the flow:
- typically in the DEVELOP module
- select a new image, adjust it, move on to the next new image
- go back and select one of the previously edited images and while it's loading, it suddenly transitions to a slightly warmer tone than when I had last left that image. None of the sliders in the Basic/ToneCurve/etc panels move when this is happening, although the image clearly changes to a warmer version of the photo.
- to confirm that it's doing something that I didn't ask it to do (ie, warm the image), I click on the MOST RECENT item in the History panel and the unwanted adjustment goes away, and the image returns to the state in which I last left it.
- the fact that the "warming/yellowing" effect was not included in the last entry of the History panel confirms that it's something I did not cause. This automatic/unwanted image adjustment doesnt reveal itself in the History panel either. It's like an Auto ghost adjustment.
Needless to say, this is very concerning, since I am hesitate to go back and reselect any image because it takes the extra time to reset it to the most recent/accurate History setting.
This problem occurs in both of my catalogs, but is not consistent. It's not happening at the moment, but will likely reoccur later today.
I recently upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit....but the timing of this problem doesnt sync up perfectly with that upgrade event, at least not that I recall. I think it began happening a couple weeks after the upgrade.
Any ideas???
Thank you very much!
