LR2.3 64bit Crashes w/Wacom Intous3

Anyone experiencing Lr2.3 64bit crashing with the Wacom Intuos3?
Fresh installs of Lr2.3 and even the latest Wacom drivers.
I can run through probably 2'-3' files in Develop mode, trying to export, then one of the following happens:
* Lightroom crashes and closes
or
* Wacom pen or tablet driver crashes, followed within seconds by Lightroom crashing and closing

Its getting really old.

Have NOT had any problems with the tablet on the machine since the day I got it, and have not had a problem with the tablet in PS6, CS, CS4 or PSE7.
Only when using Lightroom 2.3

Thoughts?

Hi Greg, welcome to the forum!

I haven't particularly heard of other people with the same problem, so I'm not sure it's widespread. Does Lightroom run stabley (is that a word?!) when the Wacom is not plugged in?

I'm using LR2.3 64-bit with Intuos3 and have had no problems. I don't know if I've duplicated your exact steps. How much RAM do you have? Perhaps that is the problem. I'm running 8GB DDR2.

After posting this last night, it locked up not too long afterwards again (for the 4th time yesterday)... I was paying closer attention to what was going on....
* In the DEVELOP mode
* 132 RAW photos in the folder I am working on.
* When you click from one image to the next, the "Loading" overlay appears on the bottom of the photo.
**IF.... you happen to right click and select Export while that "loading" overlay is up, LR or the Tablet driver will bomb.

OR

**IF... you try to try to click the PASTE button OR right click > develop settings > paste settings.... while that "loading" overlay is up, LR or the Tablet driver will bomb.

I Rebooted, went back in, slowed down a little bit and waited for the "loading" to clear the screen, then proceeded without any problem to process the remainder of the photos in the folder.

As far a RAM, I am running 6GB (2.55GB in use, of which LR2.3 is consuming 534MB). The system info is in my sig.

UPDATE: Been working HEAVILY in LR2.3 and CS4 almost continually since the 18th...
So long as I wait on that "load" process to complete... no crashes.
Have been through ~25'' photos since then (end of school slide show prep) and no issues.
