Since upgrading to 2.2 my Mac (DP 2ghz - 7gb ram OS 1'.5.6 ) has been crashing like crazy..

Often I get the Kernel panic gray screen... sometimes my CPU just locks up.

I'm working ( today ) with a very medium size catalog ( 35'' RAW images ). They are large ( MKIII and 5D MKII ) files....

I have tried trashing the prefs... emptying the cashe... repairing permissions.. and just about any reinstalling the 1'.5.6 upgrade and reinstalling the 2.2 upgrade...

It's just about unusable at this point..

Any insights or opinions would be appreciated...

Bellow is the most recent kernel panic log

Thanks

Mike, for a start, I'd put in an official bug report ( Official Feature Request/Bug Report Form )

Have you been using the adjustment brush, by any chance? There are reports of weirdness, that seem particularly noticeable on big files like MkIII files.

Honestly, if you've done the normal troubleshooting steps, I'd be inclined to suggest reverting to 2.1 until the adj brush weirdness has been tracked down. If it won't let you reinstall 2.1, delete the install receipt from [systemdrive]/Library/Receipts/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.pkg
