LR2.1 unable to Open image in CS4

Not really sure what is going on. I have installed LR2.1 using it successfully with CS3. Late wast week I installed the trial version of CS4 Extended. While in LR I edit my NEF file then want to edit it in CS4. I selected edit in CS4. CS4 opens up but the image does not. I go back into LR and select edit using photoshop.exe and CS3 open up and so does the image. Obviously there is some conflict going on.

Any suggestions?

Bob, Welcome to the Forums. Sorry nobody's come up with anything.
Are you using the final release version of LR2.1? There was an earlier release candidate that had 'Edit in CSx..' issues. I think the correct build number (on the Help About/Splash screen, is 5122'5.)

I assume you've restarted and rebooted?

Can CS4 open the NEF on its own, via ACR?

Sometimes a deinstall/reinstall cycle on both apps solves a lot of problems.
