LR2.1.: pics don´t move from folder when moved

hi there,
new thing happening with 2.1
when I move pics from one folder to another, they show the new location in the right upper corner but they don´t disappear from the old folder, although they show up in the new folder.
even with synchronizing both folders nothing changes.
a restart sometimes fixes it but not all the time.
strange, isn´t it ?

I just moved folders and images around on a Mac and no problem. The only thing is that you can't move more than one folder at a time, although if there are folders withing a folder they will move.

I just tried it on my machine (XP SP2) and there definitely is something going on here. Still trying t figure out the "issue" but it seems like it is moving the files ok, but not updating the current library view properly.

ie.
Test 1
Selected root folder, created new subfolder
I selected and drag/droped the 2 files to the new folder I created. they both were moved, BUT the view of the root folders thumbnails now only contained 1 of the images.

Test 2:
Selected root folder, created new subfolder
I selected and drag/dropped the 1 file to the new folder I created. It was moved ad the, BUT thumbnail was removed from the root view.

Can anyone else confirm this on a Windows version of LR.

I do have Library -> Include Photos from Subfolders checked, but it seems like the moving of these files is creating an inconsistent view of the root folder.

If I restart LR 2.1, click the root folder with that above option turned on, all the thumbnails are now viewable again.

Yes, I have seen that 'moves' sometimes take a while to update in the folder panel. Then of course you fool around, trying to see what's what, "Did I drop it in the wrong place?", etc. and just make it worse.

I'm pretty sure I've seen discussion of this somewhere, don't recall where tho'. I believe it was suggested that a LR close/restart would fix it.
