LR2.1: changing star rating of 1 pic also changes adjacent

LR2.1 release candidate

1 - In libary: mark multiple images star rating at same level, 3 stars, (sort capture time).
2 - In develop: enable custom filter, filter setting = 3 stars.
3 - select one of the images which has a following image.
4 - change flag setting of selected image to a lower setting, and note that the selected image disappears from filtered image display, as it should.
5 - the following image also disappears. Disable filter and both the selected image and following image star ratings have changed.

Wow, it's even weirder than that.

If I do steps 1-3, I don't even have to change the star settings, all I have to do is roll the mouse over the stars on the toolbar, and the image ratings change, and if the filter is set right, they disappear. I didn't click on anything, and images just started changing ratings and disappearing.

But now I'm having trouble reproducing it either the way you describe it, or the way I saw it.

Anybody else?
