I am new on this forum, I have just discovered this now, so I don't really know if this topic was already covered.

What I am looking for is a way to customize LR Web Templates. I am using LR 2.6 and it comes with some cool templates, and the one I like the most is the Flash slide show. However, I would like to customize it. I would like to add menus, custom text, add some different layouts, etc. However, customizing the template within LR gives very limited options, and doing it outside LR directly on generated html and css files only hurts.
I googled the web and I found some other templates created by some people, so I know it is possible. There is an option to import a template, so it should be possible to develop one, right? Some people succeeded. So I ask - how did they do it? Did they have some inside knowledge how to develop a LR web template, or is there any widely accessible LR Web Template Development Kit? If such thing exists, where is it? Is it possible to learn it? Books, classes, resources?
