LR-->PS CS4: open GL limit of 25 files stops droplet at 25 output files?

Earlier in the day I tried to open more than 25 files in CS4 from LR. I got an error message saying something to the effect that open GL in PS has a limit of 25 files.. Does that now explain why my droplet stopped processing after 25 of the 45 LR exported files?

Yep, could do, especially if they're not set to save and close as part of the action and therefore they're all left open. Or where are the photos stored - LR passes the full path to the file, and the length of the string it can pass is limited to the number of characters.

The droplet resizes, converts to sRGB, saves for web and devices, and closes the file. I saw each image appear and disappear in PS. And wouldn't the following non-processed images have the same length string for a path? Can I turn open GL processing off in PS preferences and rebuild the droplet?

No, I think the entire string for all the files is sent at once, and the Windows limit is 8kB of characters.
I could be mistaken, but we have encountered these symptoms before in the same context. One way to test/workaround, is to put the files closer to the root, so that the file paths are much shorter text-wise.
