I have been using LR 1.3.1 and Photoshop Elements 4 for a while without any problems. LR recognizes that I have photoshop elements on my computer and in the Develop module I can go directly to "edit in photoshop elements" command under the "photo" drop down menu.

I just upgraded to Photoshop Elements 6 and the command "edit in photoshop" is greyed out and the program doesn't recognize PSE 6 on my computer.

I went to adobe website and there is mention of this but the fix is to go to the registry editor which I am not comfortable doing. Any suggestions on how to fix?

THanks

The registry edit is not as bad as they make it sound, but did you try uninstalling Elements 6 and re-installing it as an alternative?

Hi,

With upgrading to PSE4 -> 6 I did just what another writer suggests: first remove v4 and then install v6. So installing twice will do the trick (I think).

It worked

Thanks for the suggestion. Uninstalled and reinstalled PSE6. This must have reloaded something LR needed to recognize the program that was deleted when I removed the older PSE4.
