Hi - is there any way to prevent LR History from showing the changes made when you simply mouseover or rollover the various recorded states? I seem to remember that it used to show the state only when you clicked on a particular change, which I myself found more convenient - especially when making very slight alterations which aren't always visible at first glance.

Thanks,
Alex

How about not rolling your mouse over history steps that you don't want to see? I think this behavior used to only appear in the Navigation panel. And this has been the standard since LR1. I don't know when it was included for the main develop screen, but it does not seem unreasonable for me.

History Preview was introduced in Classic 13.0 (so last month), to reflect the same behavior in Presets, etc.

Turn it off in Preferences

Thanks for clarifying this, I've turned this off.

For me, I've found this behaviour really annoying - it is so easy to move your mouse over that area of the screen and see the preview change. It is now also difficult to directly compare two history states without careful mouse movement of going in and out the history window. I had the same problem with the Presets as well, so I guess that is at least consistent now (and can be turned off!) :)
