LR Flash Gallery - Opening photo not centred

I am using the LR Flash Gallery in the Web Module to create my on-line galleries. When viewing the gallery on-line, the first photo is almost always placed partially off-screen in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. click on the thumb for another picture and it appears centered on the screen as it should. Click back to the first photo and it is now is centered on-screen. Re-sizing the browser will also cause the mis-placed photo to be centered properly on the page. I have only had this happen when I use the LR Flash Gallery. I have verified that other users on other computers see the same thing when looking at my galleries.
Is there a work-around anyone can suggest to force the opening photo to be centered on-screen? First impressions are important! :shock: To see an example of this, look at any of my galleries at www.caledonstudios.com

What browser are you viewing with. Not seeing this with your galleries on Camino 1.5.5.

It is a great relief to hear that this problem is not constant across all users/platforms. I am looking at it using Firefox 2.'.'.14 on XP, both on my laptop and desktop. The other users I checked with are also using Firefox (to the best of my knowledge).

I've just logged into one of the studio Windows machines with Firefox 2.'.'.14, and all appeared ok there too. Can you maybe post a screenshot, in case we're all misunderstanding what you're seeing?

OK, screenshot is below. The upper left corner of the picture is set dead center of the big image stage. Toggle to another photo or re-size the browser window and it refreshes in the correct position, as in the second screenshot. Since my last post, I have started to look at the specifics of my system (in case it is the cause of this). Updated video and monitor drivers with no effect on the issue. I am running a wide-screen monitor at 168'x1'5'. When I tried changing screen resolution to 1'24x768, the problem did not occur every time, but it still happened one out of four times I opened a gallery.

Bizarre! It's definitely not doing that on any browser or machine I've tried. I'll try a few more machines tomorrow.

One machine: IE7 on XP SP2 no problem (16'' x 12'').
Second machine: Firefox 2.'.'.1' on XP SP2 no problem (1'24 x 768 ).
This is with the "What's new" gallery you illustrated.

Thank you all for taking so much time to chase this down. (And for the kind words for my photos!) You have at least reassured me that most, if not all, other viewers are not seeing the mis-aligned photo. Since you cannot re-create the problem on your machines, it looks like the ball is back in my court to figure out what it is that is unique about my machine and setup to cause this problem. The friend's machine that also shows this problem is identical to mine in hardware and most software, so that was a bit of a red-herring that led me to think the problem was more universal that it apparently is in reality. If I get to the bottom of it, I'll post what I find to this thread.

I am seeing the same symptoms on three different computers on some of my galleries. All three computers are Windows based (one XP and two Vista) and all are using Internet Explorer. Did anyone ever find a solution to this?

Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
