Whatever the NAPP video guy's doing with Photoshop edits ain't happenin', at least the way I have things set up...

I have Lightroom 2.' and Photoshop CS4 installed on Drive C:/.
My catalog and most of the images are on a separate hard drive D:/.

If I edit an image on C:\ in PS and Save, an image-edit.psd appears right away in the library with the original; stacking and all that is fine.

If, however, I edit an image from D:\ and Save, the image-edit.psd file is made on D:\, but doesn't show up visually until I Synchronize the folder.

Has anyone had a similar issue?

Thanks Much, Chris

Chris, Welcome.

Are you actually using 2.', or is that a typo? If so, you may want to upgrade to 2.3. I believe the PS integration was a bit buggy up til 2.2 or so. (2.2 had other problems)

Yes, it is 2.' - was bought at an Academic store just recently. This is the second suggestion I've gotten for this, even though the fixes Adobe lists for 2.3 wouldn't include something like this. I'll give it a try - thanks! - Chris

Welcome Chris, to help us help you could you please take a moment to fill in your signature in the "userCP' that is found in the nav-bar at the top left of the page - thanks.

It is important that CS3 is the latest update 1'.'.'1 (I think), so check that with the updater.
