Hi all,
Recently, I couldn't understand why my C: drive (SSD) on my Windows 10 PC was running out of space fairly rapidly. After reading threads on various forums my investigation took me to the Appdata/Adobe/CRLogs/Dumps files, both in the Roaming and LocalLow folders. In total there was around 215 Gb, which was almost 50% of drive space. I've now deleted these dump files and freed a ton of space.
So my question is really, why is my LR crashing so often? It's not during every session for sure, but it does crash regularly.
I'd like some advice and pointers as to where to look, because although I always send of the report to Adobe when it crashes, I never get anything response.

For info, I have an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Eight Core CPU and 32Gb DDR4 memory and a 2Gb Nvidia Geforce GT 1030 graphics. The OS is on the 50Gb SSD and my images and docs are on a 2TB HDD.

LR crashes seem to have been happening more frequently in the last few months. As I say, I can have plenty of sessions without crashes but I'd like to try to find out the reason for the crashes if possible, not least so I don't have to keep going into the Dump folder to delete the files. I can't attach any of the Dump files to this post because they're too large.

Thanks in advance.

I have an identical experience.

Also found large logs on my C drive…

Most of my crashes are either
1. Using the Crop Tool…. or
2. Exporting raw to 2048 pixel jpgs.

Mine is usually after I've edited the first file of the session and then try to Export. Although it's crashed at other times during a session. Just hangs and I have to force closure by ending the LR process in Task Manager.
